Central Command
Central Command serves as the governing body of the UEE Exploration Corps., Inc., commonly referred to as “eXplore”. Its primary responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the organization, such as recruitment, training, and mission planning. Central Command comprises a group of experienced and skilled Captains who supervise all operations of the Organization.

Overview
One of Central Command’s vital functions is ensuring that all missions are safely and effectively planned and executed. This involves working closely with each organizational vessel, monitoring mission progress, and making critical decisions when unexpected situations arise.
Furthermore, Central Command plays a crucial role in developing new technologies and advancing scientific knowledge within eXplore. Central Command collaborates closely with scientists and engineers to devise vessel modifications, propulsion regimes, and other technologies that enable eXplore to push the limits of space exploration even further.

Tenure & Decision Making
Each Captain in Central Command serves a term of five years, during which they oversee all operations of the Organization, including mission planning, recruitment, and training. The Senior Captain, who is elected by the other Captains in Central Command, leads the governing body and serves a term of ten years.
Decisions in Central Command are made through a voting structure, with each Captain having one vote. The Senior Captain has the power to break a tie if necessary, but in most cases, consensus is reached through discussion and debate among the Captains. This ensures that all perspectives are considered before a decision is made. The tenure of each Captain, along with the voting structure, is designed to provide stability and continuity in the leadership of eXplore, while also allowing for fresh ideas and perspectives to be brought in periodically.

Requirements for Captain
To qualify as a vessel captain in the Organization, one must meet several requirements. The candidate must hold the appropriate qualifications and licenses, including a Master’s degree or higher issued by a recognized educational institution of the United Empire of Earth (UEE).
In addition to the licenses, a minimum of 5 years of experience in space exploration is mandatory, along with a strong understanding of navigation, engineering, and combat principles. Demonstrating strong leadership skills is crucial, as the captain is responsible for managing the crew and making critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
The captain must also maintain physical and mental fitness and pass regular evaluations, while adhering to the ethical and moral standards set forth by the Organization and the UEE, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing space exploration.
